     PRODUCTIVITY
Applicable Method: Carbon 14 Method.
Equipments:  Pyrheliometer, Submarine Photometer, Membrane filtering device and 25 mm filters with pore diameter of 0.22, 0.3, 0.45, 0.8 and 1.2 uM, Liquid Scintilation Analyzer, Fuming chamber, 2 mL Hypodermic syringe with 15 cm needle.
Chemicals: Na2CO3.
Glassware:  BOD Bottles, Glass desicator with depth of 1.4 cm.


     CHLOROPHYLL A
Applicable Method Spectrophotometric determination.
Equipments:  Spectrophotometer with narrow band width (0.5 to 2.0 nm), Cuvettes with 1, 4 and 10 cm path lengths, Clinical Centrifuge, Tissue grinder (Glass/TFE, Kontes Glass Co. Model: 886000 or equivalent, Centrifuge tubes (15 mL graduated, screw cap), Glass fiber or membrane filters (0.45 uM porosity, 47 mm dia), Vacuum pump, Solvent resistant disposable filter assembly (1.0 uM pore size, Gelman Acrodisc or equivalent), 10 mL Solvent resistant syringe.
Chemicals: MgCO3, Acetone.
Glassware:  Pipettes, 0.1 and 5.0 mL.

     PHYTOPLANKTON CELLS
Applicable Method: Enumeration using Sedgewick Rafter Counting Chamber.
Equipments:  Niskin sampler, Compund Binocular Microscope.
Chemicals: Buffered Formalin as a preservative..
Glassware:  Sedgewick Rafter (S-R) Cell, Large bore pipette.

     ZOOPLANKTON
Applicable Method: Sub-sampling using Folson Plankton Splitter.
Equipments:  Compund Binocular Microscope, Folson Plankton Splitter.
Chemicals: 5% Formalin as a preservative
Glassware:  1 to 5 mL Acrylic plastic counting cell, 5 to 10 mL Acrylic plastic counting cell, Glass cover slips.
